Chuks Okpaka is a distinguished technology leader and visionary strategist, widely recognized for his pioneering role in advancing Africa’s digital transformation.
Currently serving as the Azure Business Group Lead at Microsoft Africa, he drives the expansion of cloud adoption and innovation across the continent, enabling enterprises and governments to unlock new frontiers of growth.
With over two decades of progressive experience, Mr. Okpaka previously worked at Hewlett Packard, where he rose to Regional Manager, HP West Africa. He is also a passionate educator, having lectured at Dorben Polytechnic, inspiring the next generation of technology leaders. An alumnus of the University of Port Harcourt and the University of Liverpool, he is further distinguished by an honorary doctorate in Public Administration, underscoring his enduring contributions to leadership, education, and enterprise.
Jake Epelle
Jake Epelle is a highly respected social reformer and humanitarian whose life embodies courage, resilience, and the transformative power of advocacy.
As the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of TAF Africa (formerly The Albino Foundation), he has become one of the continent’s most prominent voices for the rights and empowerment of persons with disabilities.
His personal journey marked by triumph over adversity as an albino and cancer survivor has uniquely positioned him as a symbol of hope and tenacity.
Since 2006, Mr. Epelle has led TAF Africa with an unyielding commitment to dismantling systemic barriers, fostering inclusion, and promoting equality at all levels of society.
Through his visionary leadership, he has built enduring platforms for disability advocacy in Africa, earning him recognition as a champion of social justice, dignity, and human potential.
Dr. Krakrafaa Thompson Bestman
Dr. Krakrafaa Thompson Bestman, is a distinguished energy executive and transformational leader whose career reflects excellence, innovation, and environmental stewardship.
He currently serves as the Managing Director of WAGL Energy Limited, a strategic joint venture between the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL) and Sahara Energy.
In this role, he oversees the organization’s mission of delivering sustainable energy solutions while advancing Nigeria’s global competitiveness in the oil and gas sector. Appointed in October 2022, Dr. Bestman has swiftly positioned WAGL Energy as a forward-looking enterprise that harmonizes technological advancement with ecological responsibility.
His achievements in sustainable energy development have earned him international recognition, including the conferment of an Honorary Doctor of Business Administration by Commonwealth University. Dr. Bestman’s leadership exemplifies a rare blend of technical expertise, strategic foresight, and an unwavering commitment to shaping a more sustainable energy future.
